The author, Stephen Battaglia, graduated with a Mechanical Engineering decree from Villanova University, an MBA from California State College at Los Angeles, and a Paralegal Degree from Rancho Santiago College in California. Before retiring in 1999, he was the owner of Battaglia Engineering Company, a manufacturer representative firm in Orange County, California. In the past, he has played the piano, the violin, and currently plays the harmonica.
