First and foremost a true love story, Searching Heart, Testing Mind by Kevin and Leslie Kerrigan shares a powerful and memorable tribute to the Christian faith. Truly an amazing and heartfelt tale of love, life and God's unerring truth, this autobiography ultimately unites a believer and an agnostic in a journey to one another-and a closer relationship with God. When Leslie moves to Ecuador as a missionary, she makes a bold and selfless effort to provide medical care and spread God's love. Romance is the last thing on her mind when Kevin, a young doctor on his own journey, takes her breath away. Try as she might to keep a friendly distance, it seems that a higher power may be at the helm. As Leslie and Kevin experience the Shuar tribal village of Kapawari nestled deep in the Amazon rain forest, they will come to understand the dangerous powers of nature and realize that to truly learn from one another takes an act of faith as big as God's love.
