This book is about my life. It tells about my challenges as an adolescent growing into womanhood, and my struggles as a Christian within today's society. It conveys the pain of someone smitten by a potentially devastating disease, and how through faith and the Grace of God, life was restored. This book is for those who feel they have to conceal their darkest secrets in order to get by in this world. My desire is to motivate you to turn away from fear. By exposing my issues, the hope is that others will do the same; thereby, freeing them from the fear of man's social expulsion. Whatever the negative report is, God can turn it into a positive experience.

Biographie de l'auteur

Marlet Brown is a 38-year-old, Black woman born in West Palm Beach, Florida. After graduating from Suncoast High School, she settled in her family's hometown of Philadelphia. There she became a Cosmetologist. Marlet was married by age 19, divorced, and then remarried by age 28. In the mist of that, she gave birth to her only child Raegan; and shortly after, divorced again. Marlet became a Christian at a very young age; but due to the consumptive power of the stresses of life, she abandoned her relationship with the Lord. After numerous failed attempts to find joy and fulfillment, Marlet decided to seek after love once more. This time she got far more than she bargained for.
