Biographie de l'auteur

Jay Perrin has been a Bible teacher-volunteer in jails and prisons for over 14 years. In preparing this study guide, he depended heavily on an inmate friend for guidance in all areas. He listened to the questions which inmates gave and responded to those concerns with Scripture verses. In this give-and-take Bible study, the inmates themselves actually produced the book. Jay could not have done it without their constant input. They asked questions which none of his Sunday School classes ever asked, basic and important questions for a Christian life.Jay worked as teacher and administrator in public schools and universities for over 40 years. He has a doctor's degree from the University of Oklahoma. He has taught Sunday School classes for over 55 years. He and his wife served for ten years as teachers-missionaries in Japan. Emphasis on Christian basics and the supporting Scriptures came from teaching the Bible in Japan. God gave him a love for inmates who want to change their lives.
