Travis Outten, twenty-one year old author of The Three Mile Marker, is a Maryland native who is currently stationed onboard the Navy aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Harry S. Truman, CVN-75 home ported out of Norfolk, Va. He is currently finishing up an Associate's in electronics and working towards a Bachelor's that he is still undecided on.
