At the end of the swamps where the forest begins, the sun reflects off of the wreckage of a space ship, partly sunken in a bog and slowly sinking out of sight. This ship brought three aliens to this beautiful, isolated, and primitive area over a year ago from another planet they called Agra. It once orbited the same sun as the planet they are on now. These three aliens have named this planet Rath: thousands of years later it will be called Earth. It is a story of adventure, love, hardships, funny times, and sad times.

The author was born in Rushville, Indiana, graduated from Milroy High School, married, raised a family of three girls, and has retired from 38 years of telephone work. He became interested in archaeology in the mid 70's and has worked with Indiana University, Indiana State, Ball State, IUPUI, the Indiana State Museum and Northwestern University. After retirement in 1994, he became interested in volunteer work and has since received a presidential award for over 8000 hours of work. He does cemetery stone repair work part time in the summer months and spends as much time as he can with his grandchildren to support them in their projects. Writing books has been in his mind for many years and he has been able to squeeze writing into his schedule the last few years starting with "Intrusion", followed by a sequel, "Ripples in our Time Line", and now is working on a totally different book, "It Could Have Happened That Way."
