Biographie de l'auteur

John A. Jackson was born in Cleveland, Texas then moved to Rock Creek Community near Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was saved at 12 years of age in Rock Creek Baptist Church. He moved with his family to Abilene, Texas where he completed high school. He spent four years in the U.S. Air Force. He is a graduate of Hardin Simmons University, Abilene, Texas. John was 28 years old when he felt God calling him into ministry. He and his wife, Lena, relocated to California where John graduated from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. They have three children, Randy, Rick & Sherry and eight grandchildren. John pastored in Reedley, Anaheim, Fairfield and Highland, California. He served as president of the California Baptist Convention for two years. He served nine years on the International Mission Board; two of those as vice chairman and two as chairman.
