Synopsis

Kevin O'Sullivan, noted author and psychic, is returning to Heatherton, North Carolina-and Mid Carolina University-for a long overdue reunion with his close-knit college friends. He will also be reunited with an old demon. A very real and nasty demon. Upon returning to Heatherton O'Sullivan learns that Amy Reynolds, daughter of pals Robbie Reynolds and Harper Stevenson, is missing. The circumstances of her disappearance are eerily similar to the disappearance and brutal slaying of his college sweetheart, Catherine McGuire, in 1969-a crime that was never solved. harrell jamison unveils both crimes in a tale that weaves effortlessly through present and past. Told through the eyes and perspective of a colorful collection of characters, Heatherton is a story of relationships that run the gamut from friendship to hostility, love to hate, natural to supernatural. Those relationships are pushed to their limits-and beyond-as the story unfolds to an exciting climax, with a surprise twist at the end.

Biographie de l'auteur

harrell jamison graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1970. Don't grab a yearbook and try to look him up under the "J's", however. ("harrell jamison is my real name ... two thirds of it, at least," states the author. "So, technically, my pen name isn't a pseudonym. I use it as a tribute to my Dad and my Granddad.") Heatherton readers will not be surprised to learn that jamison was in school in North Carolina during the late 60's. And, yes, he is a Dylan fan. A native Tar Heel, jamison continues to reside in North Carolina. He divides his time between Raleigh, where he is Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a publicly traded company, and Wilmington. Between his "day job" and his passion for writing, jamison spends time enjoying his family, reading, listening to music, and playing an occasional round of golf. He also enjoys "sneaking out to Vegas" a couple of times each year. He and his wife, Catherine, have two daughters, Jennifer and Tracy.
