Arthur A. Kimball, "The Man Behind The Scene," was a central figure in some of America''s most historic moments. He secretly handled the financing of the atomic bomb, authored administration of the Marshall Plan and the creation of the U.S. Information Agency. Served on the General Staff during World War II. Was the American Military Administrator at the Nurnberg Trials that tried the Nazi war criminals. Kimball played a leading role in creating America''s space agency and it was he that gave NASA its name. He was instrumental in converting Germany and Korea from military to civilian governments. Served on the National Labor Relations Board. Member of the White House staff during President Eisenhower''s and part of President Nixon''s administration and his office was larger than the President's famed Oval Office. * * * * Marvin C. Arthur, co-author of "The Man Behind The Scene" was selected by an aide to General Marshall, that flew out to interview him and nine others. He was immediately dispatched to the Pentagon to serve with the highest echelon of the General Staff during World War II in the Operations Division, formerly known as The War Plans Division when General Eisenhower headed it before taking command in Europe. Marvin was handling correspondence and other material to and from the White House, Chief of Staff, foreign and domestic military commands and governmental agencies.He retired from owning fine jewelry and art galleries in Beverly Hills, California and has been president of Arthur's International. He is the author of "The Unknown Japanese" and "It's Been A Wonderful Life," a biography that provides a world of other information as well as enlightenment on many famous personalities.
