They went on to found the Unity Church and Fillmore published many books on his belief in metaphysics and the power of prayer and positive thinking. In "Prosperity", Fillmore sets out twelve lessons to help the reader find financial wealth and abundance, along with a personal sense of purpose and strength. Fillmore was an early proponent of the idea that our state of mind affects our physical reality and his powerful ideas on the importance of positive thinking and emotions have inspired and helped countless readers.
