Synopsis

(Educational Piano Library). Piano Fun for Adult Beginners is designed as an entree into the world of recreational music making (RMM). Although you will learn to read music, play music of your choice and learn to play lead sheets, you are starting down a path of music making designed to be stress free and enjoyable. RMM learning is considered a "dream-fulfillment" opportunity. Countless adults have yearned to play the piano for years (or regretted quitting as a child), and they are seeking a learning environment that helps them achieve that dream. Seize this opportunity and remember, there is no expiration date on dreams! Includes a special "To the Teacher" section for group instruction. The price of this book includes access to audio tracks online, for download or streaming, using the unique code in each book. "The tenor of the book successfully embraces the core philosophy of Recreational Music Making--it's relaxed and not intimidating. The book is divided into eight modules, suggested to cover 16 weeks of classes, and each is broken down into graphically pleasing, self-explanatory sections...This is a stress-free, fun course, perfect for the huge body of older adults who are absolute beginners and have always dreamed of playing."-- American Music Teacher
