About the author
Maryann Byrd authored The Biscuit Dive Guide while producing, driecting, and writing the PBS documetnary, The Rise of the Southern Biscuit. Maryann is a Journalist who works independtly under her own compnay, Byrdword Producitons. She has a backgroudn in broadcast television and has produced other award winning pieces for Public Television.
