Biographie de l'auteur

Marshall Borden Thompson Jr. Is the only son of an only son and as a solitary book-centered little boy endured constant moves to new schools and new towns across approximately ten schools in Texas. After World War II military service in the Philippine Islands, he reached the rank of Technical Medical Sergeant. During his life he graduated with three degrees from various schools of higher learning in the US and Canada. After establishing his residence as an landed emigrant to Canada he served as an educator in Bolivia and Turkey until retirement. He began his career as a writer at that time, starting with the book A Child of Promise and four other novels written successively but not published until the present. He cooperated with Hazel, his wife on two books, both of which have been published: Hot and Cold Turkey, and High Adventures in Bolivia. They pass the winter from January each year as 'snow birds' visiting their children and grandchildren.
