Arthur Terrell was born in Bermondsey, London in 1925. He left school at the age of fourteen; soon after, war broke out. He joined the Royal Navy in 1943 and took part in the D-Day invasion of Normandy. After working many years in London as a stock records clerk, transport manager, and shipping manager, he moved to Bermuda as stock controller for three hotels owned by Trust House Forte. Besides writing novels, Arthur Terrell has a number of children's stories to his credit besides being a poet. At the present time, Arthur Terrell is a member of the Grandparent program helping to tutor children with special needs in a local elementary school in El Cajon, California.
