Synopsis

MILDRED BLOUNT: EDUCATOR/POET/AUTHOR

Mildred Blount is semi-retired as an Educator. Her first book entitled, The Whole World is Full of Gods Glory, was published in the year 2004. The theme was Christian Poetry.

**************************************************** I KING 19:12 AND AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE A FIRE; BUT THE LORD WAS NOT IN THE FIRE. AND AFTER THE FIRE A STILL SMALL VOICE! *****************************************************

STILL! Dear Lord, let my soul be drawn closer to Thee! With visions and revelations brought by Angels that be. Please wash me clean that I am thoroughly yielded; While frozen perfectly still, As I surrender to Your Omniscient Will! ****************************************************

I was reluctant to write about the visions and revelations that I have witnessed. I thought that what I had experienced should remain private. I have learned by sharing Gods miracles in my life, other people may know that God truly lives. There is nothing in the world that can compare to His Omniscient Presence.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Mildred Blount was born into a religious family. Ms Blount recently retired from the field of Education, where she holds a Master Degree in Education. She continues to work part-time as an Educator. Ms Blount, states the following: I am currently pursuing my passion of writing religious poetry. I realize I could not write the poetry, if it had not been for the Lord directing me in the spirit for the writing. It is my desire to share my passion of writing poetry with the public. I hope that everyone that read the poetry will also become deeply moved. I hope that people of all ages will experience inspiration from the poems. Yet, I desire that the youth of the world, in particular, will become conscience of God at an early age, and have a richer life, religiously speaking, through the awareness of God in their lives, through the reading of religious poetry.
