This book is meant to be easy reading. It is very short but contains interesting stories and situations that all parents can relate to. It points out some of the things our little children try to teach us when they first start to learn to read. It shows some of the illogical and horrible things that we do to them as developing readers; things that do not even enter our minds as being of any consequence. It points out the staggering costs at state and federal levels that are yielding little improvement in our children's reading abilities. The books lays out the necessary changes that, if done, will present our children with a pure phonetic reading system, a system that will enable them to read quickly and effectively At first sight, because we do not like to see changes, the changes look drastic, but upon close examination the changes can be seen as minor and easily implemented.

Biographie de l'auteur

Jin was graduated Magna Cum Laud from the University of Hawaii with a degree in Sociology. She also graduated Magna Cum Laud from the University of Alabama A&M University with a degree in Special Education. Jin has been extremely interested in the reading problems of our children, why they cannot read and how to solve that problem. She has dedicated much of her time over the past fourteen years to this problem. She has noted the billions of dollar spent annually, locally and federally, with miniscule improvement. Her research led her to a simple, pure phonetic system that will enable all children to learn to read quickly and efficiently. Jin hopes to bring this new pure phonetic reading system to the attention of the parents of the nearly 15 million children who are already born and will be entering our school system in the next five years. She also hopes to encourage school administrators, state officials, and federal officials to take a measured and careful look at what she has developed along with an implementation plan for putting the system into place.
