Synopsis

Nick Turner is a cool, easy-going private investigator. He goes about his business solving other people's problems by gathering information from his various sources. Along with his German Shepherd, Zeus, and his four best friends, all of which are former Marines who served together during the Tet Offensive in Vietnam; they formed a lifelong alliance that has lasted the test of time.Now, they come to life in Nick's adventure to find the identity of a beaten woman who has been left in a ditch along a country lane. They also become players in Nick's quest to discover, "Love's Worth."

Biographie de l'auteur

F.D. Bersey Jr. was born in Linden, New Jersey, in 1948, one of eight children. In 1965 he joined the Army and served with the prestigious 101st Airborne Div. serving in Vietnam from 1966-67. Life after that was spent working in various fields of construction and logging in Colorado. Having played the drums since the 4th grade, he played for several years in small bands, and most recently with church groups. As a sideline, he also managed bands and promoted concerts. His love for writing started with poetry. To date he has written over 70 poems. He has won several poetry awards, two of which are Golden and Silver Poet awards. In 1990 he produced the first golf print in poetry, titled, "The Golfer". F.D. received a heart warming thank-you and best wishes from President Bill Clinton. After becoming disabled in late 2000 he decided that it was time to write fiction based upon his life's adventures. He also writes romance drama and is presently putting the finishing touches on his first romance novel. He has one son who is serving in the U.S. Army abroad. F.D. currently resides in Spokane WA
