Roland Bond is a retired school head teacher, having spent 35 years teaching in secondary and primary schools. He has used many of the episodes in this story with 8 ? 11 year old children as stimuli for creative writing, and on such occasions has always found that they were received with tremendous enthusiasm and excitement.
