Synopsis

This book is basically about a young lady named Anita, who is in love with her high school sweetheart. She eventually marries him and becomes his wife one day only to find out later in life that she regretted the day she ever married him. She tries to hold on to her husband and be there for him, but he constantly continues to take her through unnecessary changes. Along the way she marries for the second time and starts to think that marriage perhaps just isn't for her. Then one day she decides to smarten up and come to her senses about men and move on with her life only to find out that later on in life, destiny somehow led her down another path to finding her true love.

Biographie de l'auteur

My name is Terry La-shon Riley. I was born May 29, 1970, in Newark, New Jersey. I grew up as a Baptist; I attended a Baptist church in East Orange, New Jersey. I was raised by my mother, Alberta Williams, and stepfather, Frank Williams. I'm also the youngest sibling out of my mother's four children. I graduated in 1988 from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, New Jersey, where I received my high school diploma. . I attended Phillips Business School, in 1989, in East Orange, New Jersey, where I received a certificate in Business Courses and WordPerfect 5.0. A few years later I moved to the state of Massachusetts, where I attended Greenfield Community College. There I majored in social work. I'm currently a wife, the mother of four kids, and a daycare provider, who works out of her own home with children. What interested me as an author were my life experiences, the ups and downs, which gave me the strength to write about the many challenges that I had dealt with in life. I'm just proud to say that through it all was a brighter side waiting for me!
