In the book of Romans chapter 12 verse18, the bible gives some general guidance on how we are to conduct ourselves. It states, " If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men". The problem with this guidance is that people have gone way beyond religious tolerance and accepting ungodly behavior. Christians have forgotten the most important part to understanding what this scripture really means. The scripture Hebrews 12:14 sheds light on the application of the scripture in Romans 12:18. It states, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: " Certainly we must try to live in peace with the world but at what cost? Christians cannot forsake living holy to have peace with the world. When we do, the world is watching and judging us as one of them. The question then becomes, whom do you serve? Do you serve God only in words and serve his enemy in actions and deeds? This is your Christian testimony to the world. It shows the world that you care more about living in peace with it than you do about living holy and obeying God. This book addresses the practice and acceptance of willful sin.

Biographie de l'auteur

William Derrick Moore is a graduate of Master's Graduate School of Divinity, Evansville Indiana. He earned a Doctorate in Practical Theology with an emphasis in Interdisciplinary Studies. This degree program allowed him to study the practices and doctrines of many different religions and denominations within Christianity. Dr. Moore also possesses a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Rutgers University. Dr. Moore's life is an example of God's grace. Like the Apostle Paul, Dr. Moore led a life of a chief sinner. Living most of his adult life outside of the grace of God, he can attest to the impact of willful sin on the Christian testimony. God had a purpose for Derrick Moore's life. This became apparent when he had several supernatural encounters with God. Some of these encounters were spiritual and some were physical. During these encounters, God revealed many truths to him. At this time Dr. Moore was not fully dedicated to the Lord but the Lord continued to have more and more encounters with him. The Lord brought a revelation to Moore that he was disobedient to him and was willfully sinning against him with his choices in life. The Lord revealed what Moore's testimony to the world looked like. It was not pretty. He was a Christian whose testimony in life mirrored that of the unsaved. Finally, the Lord convicted him of his need to deal with the willful sin in his life. From that encounter with God, Moore has made it his priority to warn other Christians about their Christian testimonies and how it impacts the world.Moore spent over seventeen years observing religious practices in Europe. After studying the religious practices of many European countries, Dr. Moore decided to observe Christians in the United States to see if there were similarities in the lifestyles and worship habits.
