If you could put the human mind under a microscope, this is what you might find. "The Gray in Between" is a vivid collection of thoughts and questions that people have had since the beginning of time. Thoughts of life and love. Feelings of despair and discouragement. When you read this book, you get the "Hey, I've been there before" kind of feeling, and that feeling brings a smile. It takes the heart and soul on a roller coaster ride we are all familiar with. There are many ups and downs in life, but in the end the ride is always worth it. Life is not always black and white, but it's the gray in between that makes our ride worth it.

Robert Milton Jr. was born in Nashville, Tennessee in late July of 1981. Growing up, he continually moved around and never had that "one friend" he could tell everything. This led him to write all of his thoughts down in a variety of journals. Over time, a few of his selections were chosen to put in different books and magazines. Not satisfied by this, he compiled his own collection of writings and decided to publish. He has always had a special place for both friends and family. His immediate family includes his father, Rev. Bob Milton, his mother, Deborah, and his younger sister, Allyson. Robert presently works in Birmingham, Alabama, where he also lives.
