Synopsis

It's been said that if you can remember the sixties you weren't really there. Not only could Sam Smaltz remember the 1960s but also parts of the fifties and most of the seventies. He made it a point to pass along those memories to those he met in hopes that they might not spend as much time as he had in the wilderness.

Biographie de l'auteur

If I were a young man today, I would get into electronic publishing, is what an old retired journalist advised the author in 1983. "Without electronic publishing, this book, which I started in 1973 and submitted in various forms to numerous publishers over a 30-year period, would never have seen the light of day. We live in the best of times when many can make their own CD, create a webpage, or get their thoughts in print," said the author, who is in the initial stages of his second book.
