Mary Lynn Plaisance was asked why she has a key on all of her books. "I love keys, because they unlock everything that needs to be set free, and keeps everything that's not allowed to be running loose, locked in. Even something as simple as a small key has a dual purpose. There is nothing I know of which has only one purpose. Everything contains it's opposite. It's a law of the Universe. Keys open doors, and they lock doors. I like to open doors!"Mary Lynn Plaisance was born in Mathews, La., and still lives in Mathews. She married her high school sweetheart Teddy, and they had four sons. They are the proud grandparents of nine...Four grandsons and five granddaughters.The dolls were born in 1991 and copyrighted in 1993. She created The Land of Sha Bebe books in 2001, and has two other books published:Do you believe? -- In the Land of Sha BebeCajun Fairies ------ In the Land of Sha Bebe"This magical land is my sanctuary.
