Joe Cali has a passion for travel. Along with his wife, Wendy, and their children Christie and Josh, the Cali family has traveled extensively. Together as a family, the Cali's have traveled to 46 U.S. states and 20 foreign countries. He estimates that the family has driven over 100,000 miles together during family road trips. Joe has even found a way to incorporate travel into his career. Since 1999, he has worked at Grand Circle Travel Corporation, the nations' largest travel company catering exclusively to older Americans. Joe is currently the Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning for the company. Throughout his career, Joe has been quoted in several newspapers and magazines (including National Geographic Traveler and USA Today), and has been interviewed on Boston news programs, for his opinion on world travel trends. Although Joe is listed as the primary author of this book, it was a complete family project; with contributions from Wendy, who helped edit, as well as Christie, the punctuation queen, and Josh who provided many ideas and stories for this book. The Cali family resides in Southborough, Massachusetts,. The family often spends weekends in Hardwick, Vermont. Each year the family vacations in, ...well......everywhere.
