The vision for "Taking the Next Step" was birthed after I went to hear a friend preach one night. After the service I was talking with the Pastor of this small church and he seemed so frustrated and said, "I don't know what to do, I don't know the next step." Riding home that night I knew that I had to write a book to him, but not only to him but to all the pastors around the world that are frustrated. The essence of being a pastor has radically changed in the last decade. If a pastor is going to successfully lead a 21st century, emerging church, then there are these seven principles that will help him know what the next step is.

Biographie de l'auteur

Kevin Bordeaux was born in Turkey, NC on April 3rd, 1979. Kevin did not have much to do with the church until he was radically converted at age 20. He left behind drug addictions and a shameful past in order to follow Christ. He founded and played in a Christian punk band called, "The Combat Junkies" for five years before enrolling at Emmanuel College. Kevin accepted a call to the full time ministry at age 24. He married Dianna Lievano on May 13th, 2006. He currently lives in Franklin Springs, GA while he and his wife are finishing up their bachelors degrees at Emmanuel College. Kevin is on staff at Celebration Outreach Center as the Youth Pastor and Director of Guest Services. Kevin and Dianna are making plans to start a new church in the Port Saint Lucie, FL area by 2010.
