Follow Paul “The Iceman” Mondor as he crosses Canada again in January 2008 from Victoria BC to Goose Bay Labrador. He will relive his 2007 record trip, but this time he will reach Labrador. But Labrador has a surprise for him. In the form of temperatures that will break a 50 years record. Join him as he rides his faithful Frosty in minus 60 Celsius and comes near death many times.
The isolation and unforgiving nature of this barren land will test him in ways he had never imagined and that not many can even undrstand. From encountering herds of caribou at night to losing control on the 2200 of ice that is the Trans Labrador highway, his story will rivet you to your seat. From lying down on a snow bank dying to riding blind with his eyes frozen, the challenges he met on this adventure will explain why this had never been done, and will most likely never be done again.
Follow him as he explains in a way only he can, how it went and how he felt. If this does not make you want to go out there and do stuff, nothing will. His humour will warm you up, his take on life will astound you and his ride will leave wanting more.

Born in Quebec in 1960 in a family of nature lovers and poets, travelling is a word that has been part of my life for longer than I can remember. As children we were taught that this world of ours is too beautiful to be watched from the couch. So understandably travelling became a way of life. Over 4 million miles covered. Motorcycling has been part of my life since I was about 12. It is what I do and will always do. I have come to be known for my absolute dedication and passion to the sport.
