Synopsis
No Middle Name is a heart-wrenching tale of every parents worst nightmare the death of their child. Tilly Brasch compels us to look closely at her son, Riley, who was let down at every turn by a system unable to deal with the mentally ill. Utterly frustrated and fearing that he was a burden to his loved ones, Riley ultimately took his own life. Like many young people in society today, Riley just wanted to be free and to decide his own decides. Rather than withdraw into self-pity and recrimination, the author finds consolation for herself and hope for others in SANE and Stepping Stone, organisations dedicated to helping those who society seems to have forgotten.
