The Service of Security and Information being a text-book at the U. S. Artillery School, the U. S. Infantry and Cavalry School, and the U. S. Cavalry and Light Artillery School, and being officially recognized as a standard in the examination of officers of the Army for promotion, the formations and methods herein set forth may be accepted as having the authority of official sanction.
