She lectures nationally to professionals and parents on learning and attention problems, as well as improving children's study and organization skills. She is the co-author of four children's books on LD and AD/HD and The Dyslexia Checklist: A Practical Reference for Parents and Teachers.

Uzi Ben-Ami, PhD, is a psychologist in private practice in Rockville, Maryland. He has worked extensively with children, parents and schools as a certified school psychologist, and child and family therapist. Dr. Ben-Ami has evaluated and treated children with learning disabilities throughout his career.
