Felicity Fair Thompson, literary critic, lecturer and administrator for writers' conferences, nationally, writes:- 'Vera Morrill weaves an intriguing plot around family and fame, country roots versus city bright lights, success versus jealousy and greed, and past scandals threatening future happiness. The mysteries and story lines really had me turning the page. 'Beginners Please' is full of unexpected twists and turns, with all the razzamatazz and glamour of the theatre.' An English and Drama specialist, Vera Morrill has written and broadcast stories for BBC Radio, scripted theatrical productions and is a published poet. She holds a Degree from Southampton University and is a qualified teacher of Speech and Drama. Her home is on the beautiful Isle of Wight.
