Recipient of the Governor's Annual State Volunteers award for teaching literacy several days after being diagnosed VFW Life Member5 time Post Commander VFW Post 6767, Dunn, NC 2001-2006VFW National Aide De Camp 2005/2006Member: American Legion Post 59, Dunn, NCMember: Harnett County Veterans Council Knights of Columbus. Council 9001 Sacred Heart Church Dunn, NC. 3rd degree. Currently Legislative Ambassador American Cancer Society CAN for 2006/2007Celebration on the Hill (COH) Southern division just returning from Washington. Member: Multiple Myeloma Foundation (MMF) Multiple Myeloma Foundation on call to assist those needing direction having been recently diagnosed with similar diseases. August 2, 2006
