Paul Berube's experiences as a husband, father, firefighter and soldier have helped him to further enhance his amazing gift of poetic story telling. Paul began writing while stationed at Fort Sill, OK in 2003. His first poem, THE REASON IS CLEAR, was submitted to the Laconia, NH Citizen by a person still unknown to him and was published during the 2003 Christmas season. Shortly thereafter, family and friends asked to read more of Paul's poetry so he continued writing as a hobby. It soon became a project and the idea for Lessons in Life, came to mind in December of 2006. Paul had never been a writer and never had any aspirations about becoming one. It just happened. At the urging of family and friends Paul decided in February, 2007, to attempt to get his writing published. His first book, TRAIL'S END POETRY, Lessons in Life, was released June 11, 2007 to much local fanfare and family celebration. With the success of his first book, Paul decided to keep writing. Now, take another inspirational journey with the author along life's trails in this, his second book in the Lessons in Life Series. MOUNTAIN TRAILS, Trail's End Poetry, Lessons in Life, Book 2 is a must for your collection or a heartfelt gift for someone you love. "There's no need to walk the trails alone, We are all traveling the same way; Let's hold hands and help one another, Together we'll bravely face each day!" Share more of Paul's revelations while relating to the joys and struggles of this weird and wonderful trip called life. The author's goal is to once again uplift and inspire you, in hopes that all of you will find joy and contentment as you travel down your chosen paths to your own Trail's End.
