Rita Rosa Vela was born in Brooklyn, New York. She is now living on the West Coast of Florida with her husband. As Rita Rosa Vela celebrates her success of her first novel, "Mama Plus Six", she has another of her books published namely, "Spiral of Deceit" and now "Why Me!". Her gift for story telling is clearly apparent within the pages of her books. One of the primary goals in each book, is to have the reader learn and grow from each of the characters life experiences.
