Richard Barnes lives in Leeds, the city to which he came to study music in 1989 and has been a primary school teacher since 1993. He was church organist and hymn writer at Wrangthorn Church for ten years, then a worship leader and choir director at Lidgett Park Methodist Church before finding a home at Abundant Life Church, Bradford in 2004.
