Synopsis

Denise convinces her friend, Susan, to help her discover who is responsible for the puzzling, frightening notes she's finding around town in this mystery novel that examines the quality of friendship. But Harold will never return to her if she accuses him of plotting a kidnapping. Susan, growing tired of her friend's refusal to go to the police, decides to back off the case, until she gets a note threatening her daughter.
