I was born in Elmira, New York on November 13th, 1945, the only child of Harry and Jean Ryniker. My parents split up when I was about 3 years old, so I grew up with my mother as a normal child, except for my having seizures. My mother raised me in the Seventh- Day Adventist faith, but as a teenager I became interested in the Catholic Church, with my father's guidance, and at 17 became a practicing Catholic. I didn't succeed with any career because of my seizures, but I grew in my Faith, and eventually went to Elmira College, when seizures were no longer a problem. The Catholic Church and the organizations I belonged to guided me through life; through hard college courses, and any problems I faced in life, including two business failures. I'm just carrying on with my religious life, with good friends and relatives taking the place of a wife, and children. This book is written to show that we can overcome any obstacles in life, by having faith in the Good God.
