While Malcolm X ensured the success of the Civil Rights Movement by offering America the violent alternative to injustice if necessary. Rosa, Martin And Malcolm all had the same goal, non-tolerance towards hatred and violence utilized by the oppressors in America. Biographie de l'auteur

Biography Author, Catherine Wright has spent many years studying history. She has a Bachelors and a Masters of Arts in history. She also has a P.D. in Administration and Supervision. Ms. Wright was inspired to research and write about Rosa Parks' involvement in sparking the Modern Civil Rights Movement. Her upbringing in South Carolina as the grand daughter of a Sharecropper has helped to shape her view of African Americans roles and their contributions to American History. As a historian, she understands there is only one race, the human race, with ethnic diversities. They are shaped by geographic, climatic and cultural differences. Therefore, any group of people with the same factors can and have contributed monumental changes in history such as Rosa Parks bestowed upon America. Catherine Wright Author, Historian and Educator, currently resides on Long Island, New York.
