ABOUT THE AUTHOR A musician and Construction Field Engineer, Charles La Mark also volunteers in Hawaii's Prison Ministry, conducting group Bible Studies and teaching inmates how they can overcome their addictions and recidivist status by incorporating the principals and moral example of Jesus Christ. After several years of crime and drug use, Charles La Mark began a spiritual walk that has helped him to see the light. Through the publication of this book, the same light is now being offered to others with similar social problems and criminal backgrounds. Recidivism is a social condition requiring a social and moral cure. Incarceration alone only extends the cycle of recidivism and has failed to address the deep seated causes. This book opens a window into childhood abuse, racism, and the healing power of Christianity when all else has failed. In short, this book is a testimony of God's love and power throughout trials and tribulations. God never forsakes us or abandons us; we simply close our hearts and minds to Him.
