Biographie de l'auteur

I was born and raised in Virginia, and we moved all around the state since my daddy was a cabinetmaker and made church furniture, pews, and lecterns, etc. My vacations were spent up and down the eastern shore of Virginia and Maryland where I found my love for lighthouses and anything to do with the waterfront. I have been blessed with five children, eight grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren. After I failed retirement, I decided to open a nautical gift and decorator shop at Galveston Bay in Texas. The store is in its fifth year, and I have loved every minute of it but needed to do something else in my spare time so decided to write this book that kept running through my head. I now live in my dream location in a little house by the bay. Yes, I have been through a few hurricanes, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
