Biographie de l'auteur

Allen T. Smith, seventy-one years of age at the time of this printing, lives in Zwolle, Louisiana, and wanted to be a writer for most of his life. For more than thirty years, he worked as a polisher in a factory that made light fixtures and several times he tried his hand at writing. But time and inspiration were always a hindrance to him. He retired at sixty-two. He and his wife moved from his hometown of El Dorado , Arkansas to the picture-perfect lake of Toledo Bend . There he fished, read many books, and learned how to operate a computer. He soon bored with catching hand-sized crappie and foot-long catfish and decided to try his hand at writing, again. He started and finished his first novel, The Darkest Summer. He was pleased with this and had so much fun, he decided to write another one. Once the floodgates were finally opened, the stories poured out of him. He has written eight novels to date. Allen has a way with dialogue that keeps you interested and entertained and his whodunit keeps you reading until the very end.
