Frances Goldstein Rotkopf is a graduate of Hunter College. She is a retired teacher. She taught in the South Bronx for thirty-five years. She worked as a Teacher-in-Charge of a Pre-Kindergarten program. She taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First, Second, Third and Fourth Grades. She was a Reading Teacher, a Teacher-Trainer for Communication Arts and a Mentor in the New York City Mentor Teacher Internship Program sponsored by the Board of Education and the U.P.T. On her sabbatical, she wrote a book The Thinking Alphabet.
