Chris McMullen began playing golf in the Los Angeles area when he was 9 years old. He has since hit hundreds of thousands of golf shots (fortunately, not all in the same round!), played thousands of rounds of golf (but let’s just count the good ones), played golf on dozens of courses in multiple states (to learn that the sport is just as frustrating anywhere), but after thirty years is still waiting to make his first hole-in-one (it’s a shame that holing a second shot from two hundred yards in the rough doesn’t count). A golf lover who played much competitive golf during his youth (yet the golf course always won), and who now plays leisurely when he gets the chance (and the golf course continues to win), Chris McMullen has developed and published a variety of golf books geared toward golf stats (hoping that we might learn something about our games from analyzing our rounds, so that the golf course might not beat us so badly).
