Synopsis

Pirates, treasures, storms, shipwrecks, and magic are all ingredients of Rover Rob's Tales: The Life of a Pirate Dog with Grace O' Malley, the Irish Sea Queen by children's author Yaelle Byrd. In this rollicking tale of the famous picaroon and Irish clan Chieftain, Black Oak, his daughter Grace, and her pup Rover Rob, young readers learn the life lessons of friendship, and the importance of telling the truth. All aboard The Maggie! Young Grace O'Malley has always had a way with animals. When she finds a young pup in need of a rescue, she nurses him back to health and helps him grow into a fine seadog who is always ready to work and fight with the ruthless crew. Alongside Tito, the crazy parrot, the friends sail through many adventures, fighting an enemy fleet, overcoming mutiny, and helping a Mermaid along the way.
