Kitty Michaels is a children's librarian and author of the Ballet Friends series. Her goal is to bring fun, exciting, and inspirational stories to young readers. Kitty studied ballet for many years starting at the age of three, and continues her love of dance in writing ballet books for girls. She holds a B.A. in English, and a Master of Library Science with a concentration in children's literature.
