I was also so blessed by the many circumstances which fell into place the day the aneurysm occurred. Without these, I would not be here today. So, after learning to accept the "new" person I am, I had to define what I wanted my new life to be like. This is that story.

I won't bore anyone with all the nuances of my life. I had a normal childhood, the second of two daughters. My sister is 20 months older than I. I had loving parents and relatives on both my Father and Mother's side, and my early childhood memories are of always being involved with the family on weekends or Holidays. I was brought up in a Christian environment, where faith played a role in the life of the family. I was also fortunate that I married a person of the same faith, so a common ground existed. Following my husband's death, there were many trials to face. However, they were nothing compared to what I faced following the brain aneurysm. I would not be here if it were not for what I feel is the intercession of faith and a push from beyond. The trip has not always been easy, but one worth taking!
