Born in Westminster, Robert Jansson studied at London University and UCLA. His first two mysteries, Meet You in Munich and News Caper, were published when he was a professor in England. Recruited by an American corporation, he moved with his family to the US, and at various times managed organizations in the US, UK, Belgium, Japan, Russia and Ukraine. His historical novel Kari's Saga, set in Viking Iceland, was published in 2008 and Feet First in 2009.
