Synopsis

This is about one man's struggle to find purpose and value, a quest common to us all. Surrender, The Way Out is this journey made through the alleys and byways of addiction. The reader is treated to a view through the eyesand psyche of the addict. There are three basic truths about addiction that are made clear in these pages. Firstly, heart issues usher us into addiction, secondly, heart issues keep us in the addiction cycle, and thirdly, heart issues are what prepare us to leave our addiction for recovery. As one who struggled with addiction for twenty-eight years-I believe this book will benefit the addicted, and their family and friends.Recovery is not as complex as it may appear. What is complex are the webs of dysfunction we have been immersed in and the mountain of wreckage that has accumulated along the way. We did not get here overnight nor will we quicklymake things right.
