Synopsis

Embrace a message from beyond the veil that brings comfort to grieving families. A soldier writes to his mother, offering practical, hopeful insight into life after death and the power of love to bridge two worlds.

This edition presents a candid, lived-in voice that blends memories of a shared boyhood with a vivid description of spiritual exploration. It frames war, loss, and the urge to connect as a cause for reassurance and practical action, not mysticism alone.

  • A son speaks openly about his experiences in a new, posthumous world and how communication with loved ones can work.

  • Readers see how grief becomes a source of guidance for others, especially mothers and families facing loss.

  • The text blends personal reminiscence with explanations of how the living and the departed might stay connected.

  • Practical notes offer simple steps for sharing comforting messages without speculation or fear.

Ideal for readers of wartime letters, spiritual explorations, and memoirs that seek solace and clarity in the face of death.

Présentation de l'éditeur

The manuscript was received from an author known to them, accompanied by the following letter: The notes for this manuscript came into my possession several months ago, but I have not seen my way clear to submit it for publication until now, when the poignant grief of the world moves every heart to offer all it may of comfort. I am convinced that the simply presented letters of the soldier killed in Flanders contain comfort for all who now mourn or must mourn in the future. I should like to see these letters given a wide circulation through the medium of an inexpensive book. Convinced of the sincerity of the author, and realizing that these messages from an American soldier were no ordinary spirit communications the publishers asked for further information.
