Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book explores ethical considerations of peace and war with particular focus on Ireland. The author questions whether Ireland was ever a united and fully independent nation and delves into the history of Irish acquiescence in loss of independence. The author posits that loss of independence without acquiescence can never be justified. The book contributes to the ongoing debate on Irish sovereignty and the role of ethics in international relations. It challenges traditional views on nationhood, conquest, and prescription and offers a fresh perspective on the complex relationship between Ireland and Britain.
