Synopsis

Buffalo & Rochelle is the intersection where the author lost his only son - where so many stories died and so many others began. At the heart of this collection, and introducing it, is the title story of two young men and choices and fate and what might have been and what won't ever be, ever again. Meeting here at these crossroads are tales tall and short - stories of ordinary people living extraordinary moments - stopping here, starting here, going who knows where together or going nowhere alone. With imagination and grace and wit and his raconteur grandfather's way with a story, George Evans takes you to places you've never seen, even if you've been there before. Once in route, he introduces you to a cast of characters you'll never forget. Even if you wanted to. Welcome to the intersection of Buffalo & Rochelle and to stories just passing through. Buckle up.
